Matchdays 11 and 12 of the competition were fruitful for Pablo ‘Brutaker’, a professional FIFA 21 player who is representing MCF via UCAM Esports in Group B of the regular eLaLiga Santander league.
At 18:00, Brutaker defeated Real Sociedad de Fútbol by 7-5 in an electric match. His revamped 5-3-2 system was key with Roberto Carlos in midfield. Four hours later, he drew (5-5) against Girona FC. In minute 90, at 4-5 down, Brutaker went level with an unlikely penalty from Leo Messi. In the game against Girona, the Malaguista scored the best goal of the matchday, thanks to a superb left-footer from Johan Cruyff from outside the area.
The league tournament will be taking a break next week. MCF’s next games, corresponding to matchdays 13 and 14 are against Granada CF (18:00) and Real Zaragoza (21:00) on Wednesday 3rd March.
