Genaro celebrates his birthday with Values

La Rosaleda welcomed the visit from CEIP Cándido Lara this morning. Genaro, Luisa Olmedo and Paula featured during this session of Blue and White Values.

Students from CEIP Cándido Lara in Cómpeta took part in this morning’s Blue and White Values held at La Rosaleda.

The MCF Foundation’s activity, supported by Fundación ‘la Caixa’ and CaixaBank, continues this 21/22 season. As usual, the pupils watched the first team training session and enjoyed a guided tour of La Rosaleda and the MCF Museum. They were later accompanied by Genaro (Málaga CF), Luisa Olmedo (Málaga CF Femenino) and Paula and José Antonio (Málaga CF Genuine) in the Juan Cortés press room. The players answered the students’ questions and conveyed how they apply Blue and White Values to their everyday life.

Genaro, who is celebrating his 24th birthday today, talked about the importance of sporting values in his personal and professional life. He told the MCFTV cameras that “the students are full of enthusiasm and come to watch us in training. During this final stage of my recovery, it gives me a boost of energy and positivity,” he said about what the spirit of Blue and Whites Values gives him.

In addition, Olmedo said this is a “superb initiative. It promotes the values of the Club, sport and of course the Málaga fans,” added the Blue and White defender.

To round off this Blue and White day, the traditional group photo was taken alongside the official Values poster. Thank you for coming, CEIP Cándido Lara!
