Future Malaguistas enjoy ‘Blue and White Values’

With the aim of continuing to instil Blue and White Values amongst young people, two remote meetings were held last week. CEIP San Roque and CEIP Maicandil were featured this time around.

The Blue and White Values events continue during January. The initiative promoted by the MCF Foundation, with the support of Fundación La Caixa, visited another two schools last week.

On Wednesday 20th the pupils of CEIP San Roque in Tolox had the privilege of taking part in a remote session that highlighted the importance of good sporting habits. Led by Sebastián Fernández Reyes, Basti from the MCF Foundation’s Social Department, with the presence of Málaga CF Femenino coordinator and Atlético Malagueño delegate, Raúl Iznata plus one of the MCF School coordinators, Antonio Utrera, the students had the chance to chat to the Malaguista players present. On this occasion it was one of the first team captains, Escassi; Andrea Ríos, from the women’s first team; and Javi from the Supercapacitad@s Football School.

On Thursday 21st, the remote meeting was held with CEIP Maicandil in Manilva. The session featured reserve team member and regular fixture with the first team, Ramón; Buceta from the women’s team; and Paula from the Supercapacitad@s Football School, who represented the values of sport and answered the pupils’ questions.

The six players talked about their daily routines and the prevalence of Blue and White Values. They discussed the importance of teamwork, hard work, respect, good nutrition and education, and during the pandemic, the prevention of COVID-19. In addition, there was time for other topics, such as our players’ idols.

Such inspiring mornings for CEIP San Roque and CEIP Maicandil, as well as the Blue and White representation, thanks to the MCF Foundation and Fundación La Caixa.
