From Málaga to Japan

The MCF Foundation made the meeting possible between the Supercapacitad@s Football School and the Málaga CF School in Osaka.

There is no doubt that Malaguismo crosses borders. Proof of this is the Málaga CF School in Osaka, Japan – a group of players between the ages of 8 and 18, who have been flying the Blue and White flag for the past two years in Japan, under the coordination of Satoshi Arashima.

Players from the Supercapacitad@s Football School and the MCF School in Osaka held a remote meeting, despite the eight-hour time difference, with everyone wanting to get to know each other following the great experience during the match.

For over an hour, both schools exchanged questions and answers, talked about their training methods and got to know each other. One of the players from the Japanese school, 18-year-old Haruto Tanaka will have the chance to train for a few months with teams from The MCF Academy.

Both schools loved the chat, especially the fact that Carlos Fernández, the 'Pichichi' of the Genuine team, promised to dedicate future goals to the players from the Málaga CF School in Osaka, while the Japanese players would love to travel to play against the Supercapacitad@s at La Rosaleda.

The challenge for the final part of the meeting was to prepare typical dishes from the country of their new friends. The young Japanese players will make tortillas whilst the Genuine team will try their hand at sushi.

Lastly, the meeting came to an end to the sound of a Genuisalema that was danced 14,000 kilometres away.
