Malaguista forward, Fran Sol spoke to MCFTV following the match at the Carlos Belmonte.

He started out by reviewing #AlbaceteMálaga: “We started the game with a degree of doubt. After the goal we managed to recover with two very good set pieces, which are important in the Second Division. We knew how to turn it around, then a misfortune occurred, a teammate was sent off, and the match changed somewhat. They started to attack more, and their efforts paid off.”

Despite the painful defeat, the number '9' is clear about the approach to the upcoming match against Real Zaragoza at La Rosaleda: “We have to work hard, focus more than ever on improving every day, both individually and as a team, to give maximum performance on Monday.”

In his final question, Fran Sol talked about his happiness at scoring a goal in Albacete: “I’m very happy, I was looking forward to celebrating the goal with the fans, who were wonderful. They were cheering us on all the time and, despite the adverse result, they were with us. It's a shame it wasn’t enough to score points.”
