Once again, Málaga CF, through its MCF Foundation is celebrating women during March. Ahead of the 8th March, and with the aim of valuing women, the MCF Foundation has organised a visit to various Málaga municipalities to schools in Casares, Marbella, Alhaurín de la Torre, Málaga capital, Vélez Málaga and Iznate.
These talks will be held by Málaga CF Femenino players Edna, Ana Buceta, Noelia Gil, Arantxa, Judith, María Ruiz, Lucía and Carol, as well as Blue and White coach, José Herrera. Coordinator of the MCF Foundation, Lucas Rodríguez; coordinator of the women’s section, Mario Rueda; and representative of the MCF Foundation, Sebastián Fernández Reyes ‘Basti’ will accompany the Blue and Whites to the various schools.
These talks on equality will address aspects including making an effort to achieve your goals; the benefits of practicing any sport; values such as respect and teamwork; equal opportunities, as well as the importance of education and studying.
A unique opportunity to get to know the players from the Málaga women’s team and highlight the importance that Málaga, particularly La Rosaleda – having been chosen to host the final of the Copa de la Reina - places on the consolidation of women’s sport in the province.
The talks will be an hour long and aimed at Primary students, mainly 4th, 5th and 6th years, and IES students in 1st and 2nd years. Students will have the opportunity to ask questions regarding the aforementioned topics.
