The MCF Foundation’s project ends its tour of schools throughout the province for this season.
The MCF Foundation, in collaboration with #FundaciónLaCaixa, ends the ‘Blue and White Values’ season, the project based on improving the education of our society’s future.
This Wednesday it was the turn of CEIP María Auxiliadora in Carratraca to receive the Malaguista visit. The students enjoyed the company of Loren Zúñiga, Andrea Romero and Juan Francisco Mena representing the first team, women’s team and Supercapacitad@s School.
During this last session, the Malaguista representation answered the pupils’ questions about eating habits, their experiences and how they apply sporting values to their daily lives. Loren talked about the work of a footballer not just being about training sessions and matches, but about looking after yourself and eating well. It’s total dedication, 24 hours a day: rest, healthy diet and hard work. For his part, Juan Francisco explained that his team is called Supercapacitad@s because “we overcome adversity every day and we’re a family”. In addition, Andrea spoke about equality between men and women in football. “You don’t have to be scared to play any sport you want, whether it’s football or anything else”, said the Málaga CF Femenino goalkeeper, who called for young people to enjoy the sport from an early age.
The ‘Blue and White Values’ closing event will take place on 21st April. All participating schools and new representatives from the different teams within the entity will be in attendance. Teachers, players, students and members of the MCF Foundation. Everyone has done their bit to support such a much-needed project. See you for the farewell on the 21st!
