The RFEF has officially announced the composition of the first two Primera Federación groups for next season, kicking off during the last weekend of August.
Málaga CF, which 25 years ago today sealed its first promotion to the silver division after defeating Terrassa CF 4-1 at La Rosaleda, will compete in Primera Federación Group 2 during the 23/24 season.
The Blue and White rivals are the following: AD Ceuta FC, AD Mérida, Algeciras CF, Antequera CF, Atlético Sanluqueño CF, CD Alcoyano, CD Atlético Baleares, CD Castellón, CF Intercity, Club Atlético de Madrid B, Club Recreativo Granada, Córdoba CF, Linares Deportivo, RC Recreativo de Huelva, Real Madrid-Castilla, Real Murcia CF, San Fernando CD Isleño, UD Ibiza and UD Melilla.
The regular league will begin on August 26/27 (Saturday/Sunday), whilst matchday 38, the last of the championship, will be held on May 25/26 (Saturday/Sunday), 2024.
The semi-finals of the promotion playoffs, which will be played by the second, third, fourth and fifth-place teams of the two groups in the category, are scheduled for Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 June in the first leg, and Saturday 8 and Sunday June 9 for the return leg.
The two finals to move up to LaLiga SmartBank will be played over the following weeks, that is, the first leg on June 15-16 and the second leg on June 22-23, 2024.
