Prior to the league game between Málaga Club de Fútbol and Real Madrid Club de Fútbol, the traditional lunch was held for the directors of both clubs. The chosen place was the reception of the FirstClass VIP area at La Rosaleda Stadium. The vice-president of the Club, Abdullah Ghubn, was accompanied by Paco Martín Aguilar and José Carlos Pérez, cordially hosted the president of the Real Madrid, Florentino Pérez. It was also an emotional meeting for Sandro, member of the malaguista Sports department and Jorge Valdano, the merengue general manager, as they were student and coach, respectively, for many years at the Madrid Club.
