Youssef En-Nesyri arrived at Málaga CF at ‘juvenil’ age from the Mohamed VI Academy in Morocco. In the 2015/16 campaign he alternated between Atlético Malagueño and the Juvenil División de Honor, winning Spain’s Copa de Campeones with the latter.
In 2016/17 he consolidated his place on the first team, taking part in 13 matches in LaLiga and 2 in the Copa del Rey, scoring a memorable goal at La Rosaleda against Eibar. That season En-Nesyri accumulated 15 international appearances with the Morocco national team, competing in the Africa Cup in Gabon and reaching the quarter-finals (4 games, 1 goal).
Last season En-Nesyri scored 4 goals in 25 LaLiga Santander games, and was again called-up by Morocco to take part in the Russia World Cup in which he scored a great header against Spain in the first stage.
