Youssef En-Nesyri played the final minutes of the international between Cameroon and Morocco, which ended in a minimal victory for the reigning champions of Africa.
The Malaguista striker reached his 15th international appearance with Morocco’s first team, who were competing in the first Group B qualifier for the Africa Cup of Nations. En-Nesyri left the subs’ bench in the second half, minute 74, in place of his teammate, Azarou.
Cameroon took a 1-0 lead at their ground thanks to a goal from striker, Aboubakar in the 29th minute of play. Morocco’s next group rival will be Malawi - who also won by 1-0 in their debut – in 2018 in North Africa.
