Emotional reunion from a two-metre distance

The entire squad plus coaching team and essential staff completed the necessary tests this Wednesday to determine their state of health before returning to work.

The return to training is starting to be a palpable reality. La Rosaleda welcomed the team this morning in what was an unusual reunion. Guided by stringent safety protocols, complying with the required social distancing and wearing masks and gloves, the Blue and Whites gradually passed through the infirmary to undergo the relevant tests (PCR and serological) to verify their good state of health ahead of the return to work.

Coach, Sergio Pellicer and judicial administrator, José María Muñoz were the first to carry out the tests in order to be present throughout the entire process and verify, together with first team doctor, Daniel Rosado and the LaLiga inspector, the correct execution of the procedure.

We captured some striking images from the day, such as the players greeting one another from the stipulated two-metre distance, or the hand-washing process and collection of the protective equipment at the access to the stadium.

A different day, but full of excitement at the imminent, possible, gradual return to normality.
