Preparations continue for the midweek fixture

Málaga CF resumed preparations for the first of their two league fixtures this week. The team completed their second training session ahead of Thursday’s clash with Villarreal CF at La Rosaleda (21:30).

Juanfran Funes’ side took to the pitch at the Annexe at around 11:00, following work in the indoor facilities.

Calero continued his gradual return to training with the group, while Niño completed part of the session. Meanwhile, Murillo, Aaron Ochoa and Lobete, who is awaiting surgery, continue with their respective recovery programmes.

Tomorrow, Wednesday, Málaga will train at La Rosaleda at 10:30 to put the finishing touches on their preparations for Thursday’s clash with the Yellows.
