The Portuguese defender spoke to the media at a press conference at Ciudad de Málaga stadium.
Statements from Duda:
(Portugal – Eliseu) "We’re working towards the next match, and look forward to the return of our team mates currently playing for their national teams, so we can prepare for the game against Levante. I’ve been told Eli played an excellent match, he was happy, and I hope that he demonstrates this against Denmark to show why he’s there. I’m not thinking about selection at the moment, I’m enjoying my team. However if a call comes later regarding selection, it’s the prize of good work done within the club."
(Levante) "They’re up there by their own merits, they beat Madrid as well as three consecutive games. It’ll be a difficult game, but we have to play it our way, and if we play like we have been doing, we have the possibility of getting the three points. It’s a different club, completely changed, I’m happy to be back, but I want to go, win and maintain the highest level. Who do I speak to there? Valdo – but on Sunday we’ll leave our friendship outside, and fight for our teams."
(Centered around Málaga) "I don’t think about Euro 2012, I think about the objectives of our team. As I play more games, I’m adapting more to midfield, the team is achieving it’s goals and I hope I can help with this the best I can. The break we’ve had since our last win has been good for us, we have a whole week to train for this match, and if we win, we’ll go to the top of the table."
