Representing MCF was General Manager Fernando Ruiz Hierro, advisor Francisco Martín Aguilar, and Presidential advisor Jesús Niño. Present on behalf of the Valencia Club was honorary President Francisco Fenellosa, advisors Miguel Ángel Ruiz and Pedro Catalán, and communications director Alberto Gil.
The Levante managers presented Málaga with a shirt bearing the name of José Carlos Pérez, who has recently passed away.
As a gesture of goodwill, and to mark the good relations between the two clubs, Francisco Martín Aguilar presented a Málaga plaque to the Levante directors, as well as four prints from the Picasso Museum.
