“It’s always hard to lose, especially at home, but we’re still on the right track, and this is how we need to move forward. When one team dominates another, they have a lot more chance of winning than losing. We’ve always said that the excitement has to stay with the fans, and we need to concentrate on ourselves. We’ve got the chance to defend our fourth position, and try to move up to third with a home win. We’ll have to see how Valencia get on, they’ve got a tough match in Madrid”.
Thoughts of victory
“Betis played a clever game, they got the results and went away with three points. We did dominate the match, but we couldn’t get any clear chances to score like we’ve done before. We’re concentrating on our European dream match by match, depending on our performance and where we are in the League. We’re one behind third placed Valencia, and we could stay ahead of Levante to maintain our position. Our team has got every chance of winning”.
Euphoria
“It would be amazing to be in third place. We’re facing another home game, and Valencia are going to Madrid, but we can’t predict the outcome. The fans know the League final is going to be really difficult”.
Easter
“I didn’t go to Málaga, so I didn’t have a chance to see anything. I’m catholic, but I preferred to stay at home with my son and family”.
Bayern in the Champions
“I can’t hide the fact that my heart is with Bayern-Munich, and I hope they reach the semi finals. It would be great to visit them in Madrid to see an amazing semi final. Anything can happen in the quarter finals, and they need to maintain the result they have now in their favour”.
Next rival
“The team and the fans believe we dominated the last match, we just failed to get a good result, but this is how we need to keep working and face our rivals. At this stage in the League, we get to know about other teams. Racing will play a good game, the same as us, I think it’ll be an entertaining match, in favour of Málaga”.
