Demichelis’ first training session with the team

Málaga CF was in training this Wednesday morning at La Rosaleda’s annexe. Martín Demichelis completed the session with the group.

The starting players against Real Sociedad, plus Peñaranda, were in training for an hour at the Annexe, followed by the gym. That is, everyone except Kameni, who was training at full pace with Boyko and Aarón; Rosales, with discomfort to his left tibia, who underwent specific exercises in the stadium’s interior galleries; and Sandro, who had an MRI at Clínicas Rincón-La Rosaleda today, which determined a Grade II injury to the hamstring in his right leg.

The rest of the squad trained for nearly two hours, with the major new addition of Demichelis, who integrated normally within the group. Reserve team midfielder, Arturo joined training, alongside homegrown players; Kuki, Mula and Gabri. Recio, who has a slight swelling in his right foot, underwent specific training separately from the group. Jony, in the final stage of the session, sustained a blow to his left ankle, pending development.

Miguel Torres and Fede Ricca continued with their recovery treatment separately from the group, along with Weligton and Kuzmanovic (in Switzerland). Africa internationals, Koné and En-Nesyri are still in Gabon with their national teams.

Tomorrow, Thursday, Málaga will return to training at La Rosaleda stadium’s facilities, from 10:30.
