Nati Gutiérrez selected the following starting-11: Lucía in goal; Encarni, Ruth, Candela and Ale in defence; Andrea Ríos and Tati in midfield with Gabi and Edna on the wings; María Ruiz as playmaker and Claudia Jiménez as striker.
The match got off to an unbeatable start for the Malaguistas. Claudia, in minute 3, put the Blue and Whites in the lead with her fourth goal of the season, one away from ‘pichichi’ María Ruiz.
