Málaga C.F. returned to train at the Málaga City Stadium Tuesday afternoon, after a rest day. The big news of the session was that Atlético Malagueño’s head coach Rafa Gil was present with his second, Luis Martínez, to supervise training following Jesualdo Ferreira and his team being relieved of their duties at the Club. Gil and Martínez, together with trainers Paco Ruiz and Enrique Ruiz, designed a physical workout for players who started on Sunday against Real Sociedad, and a more intense session predominantly with the ball for substitutes and those not called up, including Fran, Portillo and Juanmi. Injured players Rubén and Rondón were the only two missing from the group.
