David Rodríguez Lombán (05/06/1987) has extended his contractual relationship with Málaga CF until the end of the present 2019/20 season. The central defender from Asturias shows his commitment to the Club during this crucial time for its permanence and stability.
The central defender, one of the captains of the Blue and White team, arrived on the Costa del Sol in the 2018/19 season. So far this campaign he has played 16 matches wearing the Málaga CF jersey, accumulated a total of 1,168 minutes and scored three goals.
Lombán’s responsibility, both on and off the pitch, is even more evident now as he prolongs his link with the Club and renounces his fees until the end of LaLiga SmartBank. This follows on from the same decision made yesterday by homegrown player, Luis Muñoz.
The Club thanks the defender for his professionalism and commitment in these complex and crucial times for the future of Málaga CF.
