David Larrubia Romano (20/04/2002) will continue donning the Blue and White jersey for another three seasons, at least until the end of the 2026/27 campaign.

The attacking midfielder from La Luz, who arrived at Málaga CF in 2012 in the Alevín category, has made his way up the ranks of the MCF Academy, advancing in his growth as a player during his time in the Infantil, Cadete, and Juvenil categories, followed by Atlético Malagueño, until reaching the first team.

His debut took place on 13th September 2020 against CD Tenerife at the Heliodoro Rodríguez López under the orders of Sergio Pellicer. Since then, he has played a total of 38 official matches wearing the Blue and White shirt: eight in Liga Hypermotion and one in the Copa del Rey in the 2020/21 season; one, also in the Copa del Rey in 21/22, and the 28 that he has played to date in the current 23/24 season (25 Primera Federación and three Cup games). In addition, Larrubia played a total of 36 official matches in the ranks of AD Mérida during the 22/23 season on loan.

The first team’s number '10' reinforces the club’s commitment to homegrown players, with Carlos López, Murillo, Moussa, Dani Lorenzo and Haitam having already renewed.
