David Pascual is a member of the Supercapacitad@s School and a Málaga Club de Fútbol employee. Get to know his story via MCFTV.
More than a year and a half has passed since David joined the Blue and White entity as a member of staff. Punctual, polite and very organised with his work, “I always arrive on time, I've never been late,” he said.
Teamwork and friendship are basic characteristics of the Malaguista Family, and David is a true example of these. “He’s a very positive person, he always gives you a hug or has a smile for you,” said Sergio Martínez (MCF Institutional Relations Department). “He’s a delight,” remarked José Tamargo (MCF Financial Department), who added that “he handles accounting very well,” while Sergio explains that he is in charge of collecting and preparing a daily press clipping with the main news from the newspapers.
David's tutor, in relation to his work at the Club, is Óscar Caballero (Down Málaga). “We tried to prepare and train him, in the face of unforeseen events, but he has adapted perfectly. He is very organised and likes to do things right,” he affirmed.
Lucas Rodríguez, MCF Foundation coordinator, highlights the “pioneering” spirit of MCF by “integrating a player from the Supercapacitad@s School into its structure. We knew David would fit in very well. He has an extraordinary vitality and always has a big smile. He makes it very easy for us.”
David sees Málaga CF as “a family” and “the best team in the world,” and is happy to have “incredible teammates.” One of his favourite tasks is getting signatures for the official first team shirts, earning the affection of players, coaches and assistants.
On the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, Málaga Club de Fútbol wants to stress the importance of integrating people, like David, with special abilities into the working society. It’s wonderful to see how his example helps other people to function naturally on a daily basis.
His genuine spontaneity makes him a very special, much-loved member of our Malaguista Family. David, we are delighted to have you with us and hopefully for many, many years to come. We love you.
