Unai Bustinza is out of the squad list at the last minute due to a fortuitous blow in training this morning that led to a fractured nose. Homegrown player Bilal joins the list in his place.
Málaga CF returned to training this morning at La Rosaleda. In the last action of the session, Unai Bustinza was hit in the nose. Luck wasn’t on his side as the defender has fractured the bones in his nose. Reserve team player Bilal will travel to the Valencian capital in his place. Meanwhile, central defender Esteban Burgos joins the Blue and White expedition having recovered from his ankle discomfort.
The squad list comprises of (21): M. Reina, Juanfran, Javi Jiménez, Luis Muñoz, F. Sol, Febas, R. Yáñez, Hervías, L. Agbenyenu, Genaro, N’Diaye, Jozabed, E. Burgos, F. Villalba, Ramalho, Escassi, Rubén Castro, Dani Lorenzo, Issa Fomba, Loren and Bilal.
Pablo Chavarría will also stay in Málaga as a precaution. The striker will continue training at La Rosaleda to face the upcoming matches with maximum physical guarantees.
