Dani Sánchez: The important thing is that the three points stay at home
The Malaguista player appeared before the media after completing his second game in the starting line-up: “I'm doing more all the time, I haven't competed for 90 minutes for a long time,” he stated.
Two consecutive starting line-ups
‟I'm doing more all the time, I haven't competed for 90 minutes for a long time, since I was at Numancia I had practically not competed in an official match. I'm feeling better, little by little, and it's time to continue, here the demands are maximum and there’s no excuse.”
Second half could be improved
‟It may be that in the second half we needed to be more incisive upfront, the team felt a little weak physically, but we’ll get better. The important thing is the three points, the fans deserve it. Now it's time to rest and once again go all out for another three points next week.”
Being in the starting-11
‟I hope Víctor recovers soon, he would prefer to enter the 11 on his own merits rather than because of a teammate's injury. As I said, I'm feeling better little by little. I think I'm improving. For me in today's game I performed well. I have not yet reached my maximum level, as I say I am going from less to more. I’m happy for the teammates who did an incredible job. We’ve had two games in less than five days. I also congratulate my colleagues who are magnificent.”
Victory in a packed stadium
‟Once again the fans were incredible. I think it was my first game with more than 24,000 fans. This is spectacular, in the end whoever is playing on the pitch notices it. Just before kick-off, my hair was standing on end and that can only be generated by this crowd. There are, with all due respect, few teams that generate these sensations in 1º RFEF. The team was tired by the end of the game, but the most positive of all is that the three points stay at home.”
