Dani Lorenzo, Haitam, Carlos López, Moussa and Murillo renew their contracts
The players, all from The MCF Academy, sign their corresponding contractual extensions that ended this season. Dani Lorenzo will be a Malaguista until 2027; Haitam, until 2027; Carlos López, until 2027; Moussa, until 2026; and Murillo, until 2027.
Five players have renewed their links with Málaga CF at the one time. The homegrown footballers Carlos López (goalkeeper), Murillo (defender), Moussa (defender), Dani Lorenzo (midfielder) and Haitam (winger) have established themselves this season with the first team and have all renewed their professional contracts.
Daniel Lorenzo Guerrero was born on 5th April 2003 in Marbella (Málaga). A creative midfielder, Dani stands out for his vision of the game and his quality, which allows him to easily escape rival pressure. He officially debuted with Málaga CF on 5th December 2021 in LaLiga Hypermotion against SD Amorebieta. Since then, he has played in the Blue and White jersey in 28 official matches. The footballer extends his contractual relationship with MCF until the 26/27 season.
Haitam Abaida El Achhab is from Polinyà, in the province of Barcelona, where he was born on 1st June 2002. Haitam is a powerful and fast attacking player who can play on the inside on a changed foot (he is left-footed) or on the wing. With a strong start, an unpredictable dribble and a powerful and accurate shot, Haitam is a nightmare for the rival defence. He debuted with MCF on 6th January 2021 in the Copa del Rey against Real Oviedo under the orders of Sergio Pellicer. Since then, he has played a total of 18 official matches with MCF. Haitam extends his contractual relationship with the Club until 2027.
Carlos López Nogueras was born in Málaga on 13th November 2004. An agile goalkeeper with good projection who handles his footwork well. Carlos has passed through all the lower ranks of Blue and White football from the Prebenjamín category. He made the jump to Atlético Malagueño in Tercera RFEF at just 16 years old and made his official debut with Málaga CF on 1st November 2023 in the Copa del Rey against Barakaldo CF. The goalkeeper extends his contractual relationship with MCF until 2027.
Moussa Diarra was born in the capital of Mali, Bamako, on 20th January 2002. Strong and fast centre-back, not without technique, he is forceful on the pitch. He is an international in the youth categories with the Mali national team. Moussa made his debut in an official match on 14th December 2021 in the Copa del Rey against CF Rayo Majadahonda. The central defender extends his contractual relationship until the 25/26 season.
Diego Murillo Domínguez was born in Malagón (Ciudad Real) on 14th March 2001. A strong and versatile defender, with personality and good handling of the ball. He joined the Blue and White Juveniles during the 17/18 season and made his debut with Malagueño in 19/20, establishing himself as a regular starter and accumulating 78 games. He debuted with Málaga CF on 24th September 2022 against Villarreal 'B' and has already accumulated eight games and scored one goal. Murillo extends his contractual relationship until 2027.
