CSD, RFEF and LaLiga appeal to fans

The Club is backing the appeal of the National Sports Council, Royal Spanish Football Federation and LaLiga, urging fans to avoid large gatherings that would put public health at risk.

With the imminent end to LaLiga Santander and LaLiga SmartBank, the results and definitive rankings will soon be determined, and, in turn, the celebrations of success by fans. In the ‘new normal’ established due to the COVID-19 pandemic, these types of huge gatherings are totally out of place due to civility and health recommendations.

As such, the three aforementioned organisations strongly advise private or small group celebrations permitted by current laws, with the aim of avoiding outbreaks during this period of de-escalation or risky situations that could lead to more infections.

Thanks to the protocols established in Spanish football, there was able to be a return to activity, successfully and in an exemplary manner. Training sessions and matches resumed with the objective of ending the present 19/20 season with all games played. In that sense, Málaga CF has complied to perfection with the established regulations scrupulously and methodically.

This season, the end of the league must be celebrated responsibly, in small groups, on balconies at home or on social media, in what we hope will be the desired ending in terms of the objective of remaining in the silver division for another year.
