Cruz and Fernández’s Spain will play in the final against Italy

Spain’s Under-18s defeated Morocco in the semi-finals of the Mediterranean games taking place in Tarragona and will now face Italy in the final.

Málaga CF goalkeeper, Álvaro Fernández played the 90 minutes of ‘La Rojita’s victory against the North African side, whilst the Blue and Whites’ midfielder, Juan Cruz, wasn’t part of the game.

Spain’s Under-18s fell behind early on with a goal from Adil Tahif (13’), and it wasn’t until the closing stages of play when Luis de la Fuente’s team turned the result around. Ohian Sancet (78’) and Abel Ruiz (82’), from the penalty spot, scored for Spain.

Spain, proclaimed Group A champions following two victories against Algeria and Bosnia, will take part in the final tomorrow, Saturday (12:30) against Italy.
