Condolences to Adrían Ruiz, as his father passes away
Málaga Club de Fútbol wishes to express their condolences to Atlético Malagueño’s Adrían Ruiz, as his father has passed away.
Juan Antonio Deusto, a goalkeeper with Málaga from 1969 to 1975, died in hospital in Bilbao yesterday. The 65 year old had been suffering from illness. Deusto was one of the most successful goalkeepers in Málaga’s history, after he was the only Málaga keeper to win the Zamora trophy for his performance in the 71/72 season (he saved 17 goals in 28 matches). Juan Antonio Deusto, who played internationally in 1973, arrived at La Rosaleda from Athletic de Bilbao, and after five seasons, he moved to Hércules, when Málaga were relegated in 1974/75. Málaga CF wishes to send their love and best wishes to Deusto’s family and friends at this time.
