Cazorla, Isco, Rondón and Weligton rejoin the team

Málaga Club de Fútbol’s first team has a training session in the Ciudad de Málaga Stadium, today Thursday 1st March.

After the initial warm-up, the Málaga players concentrated on the usual exercises, tactical work, and a mini match at the end of the session.
 
With regard to Wednesday’s training session, the international players Isco – Spanish Olympic team, Cazorla – Spain, and Rondón – Venezuela, rejoined the group and underwent more physical training.  Weligton, who was absent yesterday due to a hamstring injury, resumed normal training.
 
Willy Caballero, Rubén and Pol, the only reserve in the training session, were coached by Xabi Mancisidor, Kameni was playing for his country, along with the other three international players in the squad (Seba, Mathijsen and Juanmi).
Sergio Sánchez and Julio Baptista are still out due to injury, and undergoing separate rehabilitation exercises in the gym.
 
General Manager, Fernando Hierro, and Sports Director, Antonio Fernández, were both present at the last training session at the Ciudad de Málaga Stadium ahead of the next league game.

Tomorrow Friday 2nd March, the first team returns to La Rosaleda.  Coach Manuel Pellegrini will hold a press conference to reveal the starting 11 for Saturday’s match against Getafe Club de Fútbol, beginning at 18:00 in the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez Stadium in Madrid.
