Carnival and Málaga CF join forces once again

The Málaga CF Foundation and the Fundación Ciudadana del Carnaval de Málaga will commemorate their eighth year of collaboration in 2023. The great Malaguista night at the 'Cervantes Blanquiazul' will take place on 7th February!

It seems like only yesterday, but there have been eight years of close ties between the Club, through its Foundation, and the popular and unmistakable Málaga Carnival. An alliance that goes from strength to strength each year, representing one of the most powerful cultural expressions of our province.

Málaga CF will be at the Cervantes Theatre on the evening of Tuesday 7th February, when the COAC 2023 semi-finals will take place. The so-called 'Cervantes Blanquiazul' will once again be a true Malaguismo party, combined with typical Malagueño art and the theatre adorned with Malaguista flags. Not forgetting the mascots 'Super Boke' and 'Momo' to delight both the little ones and the adults!

Among the standout actions, the first 100 people to enter the Cervantes Theatre wearing an official Málaga CF shirt, will be given a ticket for #MálagaRealZaragoza, corresponding to LaLiga SmartBank matchday 28.

In addition, the III Malaguista Lyrics Competition will be held, in which the participants will come up with a carnival piece using the Málaga hymn as the protagonist. Register for this competition between 5th and 17th February. Then on 19th February, the winner will be informed via MCF and Fundación Ciudadana del Carnaval, that as a prize, their lyrics will be recorded at La Rosaleda by some of the acts participating in the Carnival. They will also be presented with a commemorative shirt featuring the slogan ‘Letra Malaguista 2023' and will present the recording in the run-up to the match between Málaga CF and Real Racing Club on LaLiga SmartBank matchday 30.

And one of the most special moments of 'Cervantes Blanquiazul' will come from the hand of 'A la Grupa', who will perform their song “Somos Genuines” dedicated to the MCF Foundation’s Supercapacitad@s Football School.

The Carnival sparks endless emotions, and we are delighted to be able to live, and share the excitement by bringing the Blue and White to this great annual festival of Málaga and its province. ¡Viva el Carnaval!
