“I believe we got off to an eager start, determined to do well after the last match at Ipurúa, so we piled the pressure on upfront. Little by little our mistakes got the better of us, due to our own haste. These errors cost us the game, even though we kept trying until the final whistle. It’s a tough defeat to take. Now the focus is on our next match”.

Earning points

“The team is certainly playing better than before, there are improved sensations about our performance during play, but that’s not enough. What matters is winning the three points, they will allow us to move up the table and leave rival teams behind. We’ve got a difficult away game coming up against Athletic, and are absolutely determined to earn maximum points”.

Correcting mistakes

“The only thing to do is to look forward. I want to put this defeat behind me now and work on fixing the mistakes. It’s important to focus on the positives, not look down, as there’s a long way to go yet”.
