The ‘cadete and ‘infantil’ teams from the youth academy are taking part in the final stage of the Andalucían Club Championships this weekend, held in Villanueva del Rosario in Málaga, after claiming the group 2 top spot in the regular League competition.
Carlos González’s ‘cadetes’ will face Córdoba CF (10:45 a.m.) in Saturday’s semi-final, and should they win, will then come up against either Sevilla FC or Puerto Malagueño in the final.
The ‘infantiles’ are participating in the final stage in the afternoon. Iznata’s team’s semi-final rival is Sevilla FC (4:30 p.m.), who were second place in group 1. The other semi-final in this category is between Real Betis and Puerto Malagueño.
The finals will take place on Sunday; the ‘cadetes’ at 10 a.m. and the ‘infantiles’ at 12 p.m.
