Blue and White Values from Los Ángeles

The 11th school visit to La Rosaleda of the season featured a school from the nearby neighbourhood of Arroyo de los Ángeles, in which Malaguista players Ramón, Andrea, Juan Pablo Pérez and José Luis Solero took part, along with our mascot 'Super Boke'.

CEIP Los Ángeles, situated less than two kilometres from La Rosaleda, was the guest school for the 11th Blue and White Values lesson of this 2022/23 season, a joint initiative between the MCF Foundation and the Diputación Provincial de Málaga, via its Sports Department.

The large group of 90 fifth and sixth grade students visited the Malaguista stadium on Thursday to enjoy a different morning, a class outside CEIP Los Angeles.

The day started with the traditional first team training session at the Annexe, continuing through the Museum&Tour and ending up in the 'Juan Cortés' Press Room, serving as a classroom for the Blue and White Values talk.

In addition to the members of the MCF Foundation, four players from the different Malaguista teams were present: Ramón, from the first team; Andrea, from Femenino; as well as Juan Pablo Báez and José Luis Solero, from Málaga Genuine. Malaguista mascot 'Super Boke' also played a leading role during the first part of the event in the press room.

Following the talk by the MCF Foundation and Diputación de Málaga, there was a question-and-answer session between the students and players. Juan Pablo Báez from the Genuine team, acknowledged that his favourite player is Lago Junior and his childhood idol was Duda, while his teammate José Luis Solero listed his all-time favourite players, all with a Malaguista past: Van Nistelrooy , Joaquin, Baptista, Movilla and Apoño.

At the end of the event, Málaga CF midfielder Ramón, who wants to be a Physical Education teacher when he finishes his sports career, stated that “it’s a great experience to be able to share a moment with the students, and convey the Club's values, which have been instilled in us since we were little.  It’s a reflection of what’s happening today, in the dressing room, we all have to go hand in hand, united and fight for everything,” he said in relation to the first team’s situation.

MCF Femenino goalkeeper, Andrea, who has been wearing the Blue and White colours since she was 15, is pleased to be an example for children: “It's about them seeing in us that little bit of inspiration, which you always look for when you're little, and what we tell them on Blue and White Values day.”

A great lesson in Blue and White Values for CEIP Los Ángeles.
