Málaga CF was back in training this evening between 19:00 and 20:30, at the Benahavís municipal ground. “Being here again is amazing,” says Miguel Torres.
The second session of the day today, Monday, kicks off five days at the Gran Hotel Benahavís. Present with the first team, as has been the norm throughout the pre-season, were reserve team goalkeepers, Aarón and Samu Casado, as well as players, Ontiveros, Kuki, Nesyri, and injured Luis Muñoz. The latter underwent specific training separately from the group, along with Ignacio Camacho, complaining of a blow to his right quadriceps.
Tomorrow, Tuesday from 09:30, Málaga will resume training at the Benahavís municipal ground, ahead of the friendly match against UD Almería in Marbella, kicking off at 20:00.
Blue and Whites’ defender, Miguel Torres spoke to MCFTV about the team’s arrival and stay in Benahavís: “For us, being here again is amazing. Everyone who works here treats us so well. It’s so good to be back, working hard this week in the morning and afternoon to prepare for the start of the League, which is very close now, and spending time with the new players. It’s a fantastic experience, being with the group, these types of situations are really good for us.”
