Abdallah Ben Barek is an institution in Málaga, the city and the province. In addition, on the other side of the Strait of Gibraltar, in his native Morocco, he is a legend known as ‘Abdallah Málaga’. Player, coach and current Malaguista adviser, if there’s something that characterises him it’s the affection he rouses amongst fans, Club staff, first team players and, especially, among all the boys and girls within The Academy.
As such, as it’s so close to the 60th anniversary of his debut with CD Málaga, the Entity has decided to name door 6 of La Rosaleda stadium – access to the Tribuna section – after Abdallah Ben Barek.
The inauguration ceremony will take place next Thursday 3rd May at 6pm, and will also serve as a tribute to the entire career of our beloved ‘pajarito’ in the Blue and Whites’ Club.
