“It was a very crazy match, with a lot of goals and a red card; an incredible match. I think it’s a very important point as we were losing 1-3, yet within 10 minutes we scored two goals. It’s important that we earned our first point at La Rosaleda with our fans. It’s the first point of many. Now we need to work hard to win in Sevilla next week”.
First goal
“It was a significant goal, indeed all three goals were. The team and the fans are what’s important, as their support helps us a great deal. I’m happy because this is my first goal with Málaga. It’s a goal that means a point, which is key, but it’s only one goal. I’m pleased we got a point today, as we were in an extremely difficult dynamic without points. Now the season has started”.
