Having returned from Murcia, the Málaga squad took part in a morning session at La Rosaleda, with those who played in last night’s match training at a lighter pace.
The rest of the team did jogging, rounds, and shooting exercises. Goalies, Willy and Pol, worked with Xabi Mancisidor; whilst the injured Maresca, Baptista, Rubén and Malagueño carried out tailor-made exercises. Representing the reserves were Iván Aguilar and Tapia.
The internationals were not present, and neither was Weligton, who is continuing his recuperation in Brazil.
The Málaga team will rest tomorrow and Sunday, and they’ll return on Monday at 9.30 a.m to the Ciudad de Málaga stadium where they’ll be preparing for the derby against Granada CF.
