The start of the promotion playoffs to the Segunda Federación now has a date, time and place for Atlético Malagueño.

Funes' team will face Real Jaén in the first round this Sunday at 12:00 at the Federación Malagueña de Fútbol ground. The match can be seen live on the official YouTube channel and on the Málaga CF website with the 101TV signal.

Loyal Malaguistas will be able to watch the Malagueño-Jaén match exclusively and free of charge, presenting their card at the entrance, until the available capacity of 800 seats is complete. In addition, 400 seats will be reserved for the rival fans.

The Blue and Whites qualified to the Segunda Federación promotion playoffs last Sunday in the last Tercera Federación Group IX match, defeating Maracena 1-2 away with a brace from Juanma on matchday 30, to finish in 5th place with 45 points.

Meanwhile, Real Jaén reaches this first round after finishing second with 68 points after losing 1-0 against Marbella FC, who were promoted directly.

This will be the third clash between the two teams this season. In the first round, the Jaén outfit won 2-0 at the Nuevo Estadio de La Victoria, while in the second round match, played in March, the match ended in a 0-0 draw.

If Atlético Malagueño advance, they will face the winner of the other Tercera Federación Group IX clash between CD El Palo FC and UD Torre del Mar. In the playoffs, in the event of a draw at the end of regulation time, there would be extra time but no penalties, with the team with the best ranking in Group IX going through. If Malagueño pass the two rounds, they would fight for promotion in a third round clash against a rival that would be determined from a draw without territorial limitation.
