After Antunes wasn’t included in the first line-up, Portugal coach, Paulo Bento has called on the ‘Malaguista’ for the next two 2014 World Cup qualifiers against Israel and Azerbaijan, taking place on 22nd and 26th March.
Antunes has represented Portugal’s first team on three occasions, and another 42 times in the lower ranks.
