Andrés Prieto and the Club agree to end their contractual relationship

The young goalkeeper, who arrived at Málaga CF from the RCD Espanyol youth ranks, leaves the Club to continue his professional growth.

Andrés Prieto Albert (17/10/1993 - Alicante) started out in the youth categories of Hércules CF, Real Madrid CF and RCD Espanyol before joining Málaga CF. The goalkeeper debuted with the Blue and White first team on 21st October 2017, at the Camp Nou against FC Barcelona, in LaLiga Santander. Prieto, who performed well in goal, played another three First Division games and two Copa del Rey matches.

During the last summer transfer window, Málaga CF reinforced its goal with two very contrasting goalkeepers; Moroccan World Cup keeper, Munir Mohand and the experienced Pawel Kieszek. This increased competition meant that Prieto didn’t have any minutes in the 2018/19 campaign to date.

The Club wishes Andrés lots of luck for the future and thanks him for his commitment shown during his time as a Malaguista.
