The 2022 Málaga Carnival turned Blue and White yesterday. Málaga Genuine and the Málaga Business Club enjoyed a very special day at the Cervantes Theatre.
Last night Málaga Club de Fútbol, via its Foundation, carried out the first of three collaborations for this year’s event, together with the Fundación Ciudadana Carnaval de Málaga.
‘Cervantes Blanquiazul’ exploded with joy thanks to the simply amazing decoration and lighting, in a theatre decked out for the occasion in our team’s colours.
Malaguistas really got behind this important event, marked by the third semi-final of COAC (Official Singing Ensemble Contest). A large representation from the Club didn’t want to miss this unique event for the #MalaguistaFamily.
Several companies linked to The MBC were in attendance. After an evening of networking at the centrally located La Reserva del Olivo restaurant, the members of our Business Club finished off the night at the Cervantes. “We all win, and we all lose, now’s the time when we need more unity,” said Salvador Ávila (LIMSAMA) to MCFTV. Jesús Castellano, from Grupo ANP, added that “it’s a difficult time and we all need to show our support.”
The big stars of the night were the Supercapacitad@s, who in the words of Basti are “the best team in the world.” Málaga Genuine. With Basti as master of ceremonies, members of the MCF Foundation School received a standing ovation from the crowd thanks to their spontaneity on stage in a theatre that didn’t stop applauding them. They sang 'La Bombonera', featuring a Malaguista wave and shouts of Viva el Málaga! and Málaga, Málaga! echoed in every corner of the theatre.
Practically all guests wore their Malaguista finery for this night of unity. Carnival, MBC, Genuine and the city of Málaga, hand in hand at a time when we all need everyone to give their all. Viva el Carnaval de Málaga!
