Blue and White right-back, Iván Rodríguez visited La Purísima school yesterday morning. Hundreds of Infant, Primary and Special Education children were impatiently waiting for him. Their excitement on seeing the Málaga defender was immense and Iván responded by signing nearly a hundred autographs, gifting postcards and taking photos.
Iván Rodríguez, who was accompanied by his sister – who studies at the school – his mother and representative from the MCF Foundation, Sebastián Fernández Reyes ‘Basti’, presented the school with a shirt signed by the entire first team and a football. La Purísima plans to raffle the shirt to raise funds to expand their computer room.
