Amrabat and Kameni nominated for Best African Player in LaLiga
Two Málaga Club de Fútbol players, Nordin Amrabat and Carlos Kameni, have been nominated for the award of Best African Player of the 2014/15 BBVA League.
The traditional gala awards ceremony, #PremiosLaLiga, is shortly being held, recognising the best football players from last season in Spanish competition. In the category of Best African Player, voters on LaLiga.escan select their favourite to be given the accolade.
Amrabat, from Morocco, took part in 31 matches, scoring six goals and four assists, during LaLiga 2014/15. Cameroonian-born Kameni participated in all 38 League encounters, with his saves considered some of the most outstanding in his area.
Other candidates for Best African Player in LaLiga are: Sofiane Feghouli (Valencia CF), Youssef El Arabi (Granada CF), Thievy Biofuma (UD Almería / Granada CF) and former Sevilla player, Sthépane M’Bia.
