Álvaro Fernández debuts with Robles’ U-19s

The ‘juvenil’ goalkeeper debuts in a list of players called-up to training with Spain’s U-19s, in which the Atlético Malagueño right-winger is a regular fixture.

National coach, Luis de la Fuente called-up the Blue and White homegrown players yesterday for a series of training sessions at the RFEF’s Ciudad del Fútbol (Las Rozas, Madrid).

Álvaro Fernández and Álex Robles will be concentrated with the Spanish team between Monday 5^th and Wednesday 7^th March, the day when they’ll both return to Málaga.

This is the first U-19 call-up for the Madrid-born keeper, recent U-17 World Cup runner-up in India. The reserve team’s number ‘2’ comes from winning the Atlantic Cup in the Canaries with Spain’s Under-19s.
