All about the Values

Málaga CF, via its Foundation with the collaboration of Obra Social ‘la Caixa’, inaugurated the sixth campaign of ‘Blue and White Values’ at Maristas School in Málaga.

A large delegation from the Club headed to the iconic school located in Calle Victoria, to kick off a new course promoting sporting values and healthy habits within schools in the capital and throughout the province.

The Blue and White representation was led by General Manager, Richard Shaheen. At his side were Club advisers, Antonio Fernández Benítez and Abdullah Ben Barek together with Protocol and Institutional Relations Adviser, Francisco Martín Aguilar. Also in attendance were Málaga CF coach, Víctor Sánchez del Amo; Málaga CF Femenino coach, José Herrera; and Málaga Genuine coach, Fernando González, who is also coordinator of the Supercapacitad@s Football School. The new Sports Director, Manolo Gaspar was also at the event, accompanied by Duda (MCF Academy) and the coordinator of the women’s section of the Club, Mario Rueda. And, of course, the MCF Foundation was represented by the charismatic Basti (Social Department) at the helm of a large number of heads of various departments within the entity.

As with the usual protocol at these events, reserve team delegate Raúl Iznata was a fantastic master of ceremonies. And, to the delight of the children who filled the school’s auditorium, there were three top speakers: Munir (Málaga CF), Postigo (Málaga CF Femenino) and Carlos Zaragoza (Málaga Genuine). The boys and girls made intrepid journalists with all three players, and also a highly applauded Víctor Sánchez del Amo, who showed his immense capacity for coaching with messages that permeated everyone present.

At the end of the event, a keepsake poster of La Rosaleda was presented to Maristas School who, whilst chanting “Málaga, Málaga!”, kicked off version 6.0 of a campaign as essential as it is recognised. Long live Blue and White Values!
