The pre-season kicks off for Víctor Sánchez del Amo’s team with the traditional medicals in 10 days’ time.
The Club has now finalised two friendly fixtures in order for the team to gain pace. The first is scheduled for Friday 26th July, between Málaga CF and Algeciras CF, kicking off at 20:30 (location to be confirmed). Algeciras, who finished last season in 4th place of Third Division Group IX, achieved promotion and will compete in Second Division B Group IV for the 2019/20 campaign.
In addition, Málaga CF will play RCD Mallorca on Thursday 1st August (20:00) at Marbella Football Center. An opponent the Blue and Whites faced last pre-season in Marbella, at the Municipal de Marbella, ending in a 0-0 draw. Mallorca recently sealed promotion to LaLiga Santander and will be a First Division side next season.
