Final preparations before the trip to Elche

Málaga Club de Fútbol trained this Saturday at La Rosaleda Stadium. It was the final session before traveling to Alicante, with no noteworthy developments reported.

Shortly after 10:30, Sergio Pellicer’s squad stepped onto the pitch at the main Martiricos ground. It was a classic pre-match training session, featuring physical activation, group rounds, small-sided games on three-quarters of the field, and set-piece drills.

As for individual names, no changes were reported. A total of 27 players trained under the coach’s orders, including seven reserve team players: Andrés Céspedes, Rafita, Recio, Rafa, Chupe, Izan Merino, and Antoñito Cordero.

Apart from the main group, Dani Sánchez, Haitam, Ramón, and reserve player Ochoa followed individual recovery treatments, as they are not yet fit to play.

At midday, the called-up Málaga CF squad will depart for Elche. Tomorrow, Sunday at 18:30 at the Martínez Valero Stadium, Elche and Málaga will face off on LALIGA HYPERMOTION matchday 41.
