The Association of Sporting Press recognises Malaguista advisers, Francisco Martín Aguilar, Antonio Fernández Benítez and Abdullah Ben Barek.
Today, Wednesday at La Rosaleda, the AEPD presented Málaga Club advisers with commemorative plaques, namely Francisco Martín Aguilar, Antonio Benítez and Abdullah Ben Barek <<recognising their continued collaboration with the media>>.
The event was organised by the Association of Spanish Journalists, held in the VIP Areaof La Rosaleda’s Tribuna section. Sheikh Nayef Al Thani, member of the Málaga CF Board of Directors was in attendance. “I’m very happy to be here at this event, which is a great experience for everyone. Our advisers are the heart of the Club and we’re recognising this today,” he said. “It’s a tremendous honour to present Benítez with this plaque, and I can’t tell you what it means to be in the company of Ben Barek and Aguilar. I’m of a certain age and I remember them fondly,” comments Julián Redondo, president of the AEPD.
“It was a surprise as I wasn’t expecting this recognition at all. I’m thrilled as the media have always been great to us, and I am immensely grateful.”
