Adrián: “We arrive at the end of the competition on good form”

The second Málaga CF captain held a press conference to talk about the important match between the Blue and Whites and Albacete BP: “They’re a consistent team, they play well and pile the pressure on upfront. It’s going to be a great game”.

Possible third place

“The League is long. Many matches have gone, and we are close to getting where we need to be. We have a pretty good chance of reaching third place. It’s something that depends on us”.

Play off

“The pitch is an important factor. I think that in regard to playing the return leg, I prefer to play it at home. I think it’s better, as if you come back with a good result and you’re playing here with your fans, it’s something that’s extremely important to us”.

Good time for the team

“We are in a good moment. The team is having success scoring goals which is important. We’re improving our goal average, which has significance in the case of draws. The team is doing well physically, and has been throughout the season, but being such a long competition, it’s tricky to maintain the level all year, but we have. We arrive at the end of the competition on good form”.

The Víctor method works

“The new coach has implemented his ideas, according to the characteristics of the players, what could be good for us, and the team has always obeyed. You can see that we’re doing well”.

Málaga CF’s top-scorer

“I didn’t expect to have those scoring numbers at the beginning of the season, as I was playing further back. One of my qualities is to get close to the area, and I’m successful in converting those occasions that come my way”.

The rival: Albacete BP

They’re a consistent team and have been so over the season, positioned in the top part of the table and not moving much. They play well and pile the pressure on upfront. It’s going to be a great game. They’re a good rival”.
