Luis Hernández visited CEIP Manuel Laza Palacios in the Costa del Sol municipality, who gave the Blue and Whites’ party a warm welcome, headed up by the Madrid-born defender.
The Club, via its Foundation, continues to promote its ‘Blue and Whites’ Values’ throughout the province. This time it was the turn of Manuel Laza school, located in Rincon de la Victoria, who welcomed the Málaga CF visit with great enthusiasm and Malaguismo.
The main attraction for the students was first team player, Luis Hernández, who was accompanied by MCF femenino player, Estefanía; member of the Foundation’s Social Department, Basti; and David Lima (CaixaBank).
Lucas Rodríguez, co-ordinator of the MCF Foundation, acted as master of ceremonies at the event, that kicked off with a video of the first team highlighting the importance of sporting values and a healthy lifestyle, followed by question time in the auditorium with Luis and Estefanía; and to finish, the children sang, with great passion, the Blue and Whites’ anthem, ‘Málaga, la Bombonera’.
“It was a great day for the children. This social interaction is important, we are the mirror to which the children look to, and it’s crucial that the work of the Club inculcates the values of sport”.
“There is a great deal of Malaguismo in schools, this one in particular, and the excitement they convey every day is extremely important to us”.
